The signature golf event in the world among all Mongolians around the world. Since 2016, Mongolian Amateur Golf Tournament has been a proving ground for the best Mongolian golfers. Each winter, all the Mongolian golfers around world come together and enjoy playing the beautiful game we all love. It has become a tradition. Welcome to Annual Mongolian Amateur Golf Tournament.

Event Details

Annual Mongolian Amateur Golf Tournament 2025 is a 3-day 54 hole championship open to golfers with handicap index: Mens’ Index Limit: max 24. Ladies’ Index Limit: 29. Handicap will be rounded to nearest whole number.

Entry fee includes player gift, green fees, cart fees, use of practice facility, trophies, scoring, player prize fund, and closing ceremony dinner.

No late entries will be accepted and players are encouraged to register in a timely manner as registration is on a 1st come, 1st served basis.  This championship will sell-out well in advance of the registration deadline and is a LIMITED FIELD so please plan accordingly and reach out if any questions.  

Starting Times

Shotgun starting times are at 12:30pm on each day and pairings will be posted on MGL website, MGL Facebook page and Facebook Messenger Group in advance of the tournament. All players should be at their assigned tee a minimum of 5 minutes in advance of their start time. Starters will have information to discuss and distribute to each player in the group.

* In the event of a tie for 1st place, an on-course playoff will commence immediately following conclusion of regular play, weather, daylight, and the course permitting.

*Trophies will be awarded to Event Champions

Format

  • February 13th | 2-Man Scramble Tournament | Snow Mountain Course
  • February 14th | 1st Round of Mongolian Golf Tournament | Sun Mountain Course
  • February 15th | Final Round of Mongolian Golf Tournament | Wolf Course

Pairings

  • February 13th | Scramble Teams will be formed fairly starting by pairing the lowest handicap player with highest handicap players and so on.
  • February 14th | 1st Round Groupings will be assigned according to players’ handicap ranking e.g. the first group will be the lowest 4 handicapped players and so on.
  • February 15th | Final Round Groupings will be assigned depending on 1st round gross score e.g. the players with lowest gross score will be the first group and so on.

  • Division 1 – Handicap 0-8 (Stroke-Play Tournament)
  • Division 2 – Handicap 9-16 (Stroke-Play Tournament)
  • Division 3 – Handicap 17-24 (Stroke-Play Tournament)
  • Men’s Handicap Division – All Men (Handicap Tournament)
  • Ladies’ Division – All Women (Handicap Tournament)

Compliance

*Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort dress code does not permit denim or jeans of any kind, tank tops, tee shirts or cut-off shorts.

*Pace of Play will regulated for all golfers’ enjoyment.

*Outside food and beverage is NOT permitted.

Rental Clubs

In order to guarantee a rental club set at the day of play, please notify 48 hours prior to the event. Paiute Resort offers premium Taylormade rental clubs with golf balls (2 sleeves) at a rate of $60.00 per set when pre-paid.

Entry Fee Instruction

$200 Deposit required along with the registration.

The remaining $350 required before January 20th, 2025 to guarantee the registration. No exception. The deposit refundable if the remaining balance is not sent by January 20th, 2025.
